Insomnia is the disease, which refers to the lack of sleep. There can be various reasons for insufficient sleep in human body. They can be like depression, stress or sometimes just improper place where one feels uncomfortable. Normally, a person needs to sleep at least seven to eight hours a day. Lack of sleep directly affects our behavior. It can make people irritable and can also change their point of view. This is because,

after a long & tiring day, body and brain need to be relaxed and if this condition is not fulfilled, and then a person can suffer the symptoms of depression.

Cant Get To Sleep

Before going to bed, one has to make sure about certain conditions and you will be free from this very big question, why can't I sleep: - Wash your face with cold water and listen a slow song so that you feel relaxed and go to bed without any worries. Check whether your bed is comfortable and cozy and if it is not providing you enough space to toss and turn your body than you must change it. Do not use caffeine before going to bed because caffeine invokes our mind cells and make us stay awake for a long time.

If your work or assignment is stopping, you from early sleeps then take naps in between. A recent study has proved that people who take a 15-20 minutes nap in between their work tend to stay more active than the others do. Sleep in a well ventilated area so that you get fresh a natural air all night. Do not take sleeping pills. They affect our minds and are not good for long-term use.

Furthermore, sleep can also be disturbed by certain mental or emotional conditions. It is an idea of relaxing and purifying your mind and soul. Thus, it differs in all human beings according to their mental capabilities. For a nice night, your day has to be good. One should not be so involved in his /her work and should take out time to crack jokes with colleagues or try your own idea of smiling. Take a nice cold-water bath before sleeping, it makes you feel refreshed and provides a short break from the stressed and tiring day.

Why can't I sleep? It can be a serious question and today in this busy world. This question is not common. Many people might not sleep because they have nocturnal phobia, that is, they are scared of darkness or because of continuous nightmares. In this case, one must refer to their physician and keep a dim light in their rooms. This can provide a relief.

Lastly, insomnia or sleeping disorder is not a small issue because a human body needs to be independent from worries and a cozy sleep is the best time for that. Recall your day, before you get to sleep and do not ask this question why can't I sleep to yourself again and again, instead of it, smile, pray and thank GOD and believe that tomorrow is surely going to be better than today.
